Getting started
Open Try it out. Each phone-shaped panel represents a different person. Edit their names, then tap the Fami icon to open the app. The starter group, Our place, already includes both users and a Chore chart.
These panels are lightweight illustrations with a working web app inside. They are not real phones or device emulators. On a narrow screen, use the User 1 / User 2 switcher. Both users remain active.
Create in chat
- Open Fami and choose Chat.
- Type one of the requests below, or tap a suggested template.
- Follow Fami’s scripted response, open your app, and try it.
- Share it to a group to let the other user join.
The conversation uses prepared responses and nine working templates. It does not call an AI service. Requests outside those templates offer supported choices.

Groups and sharing
Use Groups to create a personal or team group. Invite the other simulated user, then switch to their phone and accept the invitation. Sharing an app with that group makes it visible to its members. Change data in one phone and watch it update in the other.
Personal groups support member participation. Team groups retain owner and member permissions, so some management actions are available only to the owner. App ownership and membership follow each user’s identity, even if you change their display name.
Each phone has its own navigation and chat. Shared app data is coordinated centrally in this page. If an older update conflicts with a newer version, refresh the app’s view before trying the change again.
Notifications
Invitations, shared apps and app events can create a notification for the other user. A banner appears, the unread badge increases, and the notification stays in that phone’s tray. This also works while the phone shows its simulated home screen.
Tap a notification to open its invitation, group or app in the correct user’s context. It becomes read. If its target is gone or access has changed, Fami explains that it is unavailable. Use Home to return to the simulated home screen.
All notifications are simulated inside the page. No operating-system permission, real push delivery or device installation is used.
Reset and session data
Reset demo restores the starter group and Chore chart. Start fresh removes groups, apps, chats and notifications. Both controls retain the two names and affect both phones.
Progress is stored in this tab’s browser session and normally survives a refresh. Other visitors and separately opened tabs have separate sessions. A duplicated tab may initially copy its source tab’s session, then evolves independently. Closing the session or clearing browser storage removes progress; browser session restoration may restore a closed tab.
There is no cloud backup or connection between real devices. Use fictional demo data. Names, chats and mini-app activity are not sent to Fami’s submission inbox.
